Nestled amidst the woods and wildlife, the Cozy Cottage is the perfect tranquil retreat. You will enjoy having the entire place to yourself, away from all distractions from the outside world.  Be refreshed in the inviting sunroom or on the private deck while you catch glimpses of deer, turkey and various other birds in their natural habitat. 

Surrounded by peace, quiet and beauty, you’ll have to remind yourself that your only thirty minutes away Nashville and the Grand ole Opry, fifteen minutes from Old Hickory Lake, twelve minutes from the great restaurants, shopping and the movie theater at Indian Lake, and minutes from four parks with trails. 

This quaint retreat is fully equipped to make your stay as enjoyable and carefree as possible. WIFI, two TV’s with  Roku, a Bose Radio with CD’s, and a DVD player with movies, ensure easy access to entertainment if desired. 

The kitchen is perfect for longer stays and equipped with a stove, microwave, cutting boards, spices, oils, baggies, plastic wrap,  aluminum foil and Coffee Station with Keurig and pods in addition to a Mr Coffee plus grinder. Feel free to cook up a healthy meal on the gas grill. 

Enjoy the pristine bathroom with a tub/shower combo and wake up well-rested from a great night’s sleep on the fresh linens of the Master Suite’s king-size bed.  

Yes, there’s a washer and dryer. And plenty of parking. Melody and Joe have done their best to think of everything so that once you’re here, all you have to think about is resting.

Melody and Joe were childhood sweethearts! They’ve been married fifty years and have eight beautiful grandchildren. They love spending time with family and each other (especially fishing for Bass on Old Hickory Lake). Joe, an avid archer and traditional bow hunter who dabbles in taxidermy, is retired after thirty-seven years at UPS. As a jack-of-all-trades and floral enthusiast, Melody looks forward to spending time with her grandkids who affectionately refer to her as “Nana.” These self-proclaimed “home bodies” love their abode, their grandkids and their church. And they’re looking forward to hosting you soon!

According to Google maps, you will be 35 minutes from downtown Nashville.

No key will be needed upon arrival. The host will text or email you an entry code. 

There are three easy steps to secure your stay at the cozy cottage: 1) Pick your dates. 2) Send payment through square. 3) Sign and return the short-term rental agreement.
